Grow up!

Did you know that if you leave a place where you're being treated poorly and choose not to return, you're not only immature and prone to holding unfair grudges, but you probably had it coming in the first place and it's just further evidence of your worthlessness that you don't accept a gracious offer from that place to take you back.

Today's episode of "Battered Wife Logic for Dummies" brought to you by THE INTERNET.

I see the tag, but what's the acronym for? (Google gave me a long list of everything from The Golden Compass to Tomato Genetics Corporation, leaving me no wiser than I was before...)

Ah... someone who hasn't heard of them. It stands for The Gungan Council. It's a Star Wars roleplaying board Ashley played at before she went to Chaos Theory and Vox Populi. The reason WHY she left was because the board's leader, one General Ceel, was an asshat of the highest order.

Ashley, if you want to go into further detail, I shall leave it to you...

Ah, I see. I was thinking this was some socio-political asshattery. I'm happy to see this isn't coming from some church/support group/pop self-help guru sort of thing...

No less infuriating, to be sure, though! Thanks for the clarification! :)

I live to enlighten those around me.

A most worthy aspiration.... *grin*

I think the "Tomato Genetics Corporation" tag is better, and I shall make up a story to go with it.

She used to work for the TGC, but that was before they started tinkering with their DNA and developing freaky new species then arguing if it should be classified as a fruit, vegetable, or perhaps animal. She tried to warn them of some worrying observations she'd made, but they ignored and even mocked her, so she packed up and bid them farewell. In the end the genetically engineered tomatoes developed carnivorous tenancies and started to gnaw the legs off inattentive lab assistants.

Huh. So Ashley (well, her Zea parts, anyway) created Attack of the Killer Tomatoes?

... I think I like your explanation better! ^_^
