I enjoyed this, very well-articulated. For me, a lot of religions offer a great deal of wisdom, but then include some dogma and stories that I can't accept and that, to me, seem irrelevant to their wisdom. Reincarnation is the Buddhist thing I can't accept on faith. Hare Krishnas have stories about the literal existence and deeds of Krishna that I also can't accept; once I attended a small service of theirs, and I loved the music and found it to be spiritually uplifting--But as soon as they started talking about Krishna, I couldn't take it literally and my urge to return to another service dwindled.
