Butler GEC Feedback.

Butler's been having some regular meetings this last week or so discussing the findings of the Gender Equality Commission. I hadn't posted anything about it until now because it's always been sort of a distant concern for me. I don't do much aside from work and attend classes, so the "Butler Community" thing hasn't really been part of my life.

The only people who've made a serious attempt at keeping me informed of what's going on with people who aren't me are our Campus Straight-LGBT Alliance folk. Great listserv, and one young lady sent a letter to the listserv expressing her feelings about the recent GEC meetings. I'll reproduce it here without her information, since I don't know how comfortable she'd be with her name being used and all that rubbish. I just thought she made some good points.
