I am creating a D&D 4e character for tabletop purposes. A fighter! Which is amazing, since in 3.5 that was only a class for dipping and not for playing. Anyway, I'm interested in it finally, but I always have to add just a little madness to make it fun.
So I decided it'd be great to play a guy who's had his tongue mostly cut out. Problems speaking, obviously! His voice is still there, along with all of his vowels and some consonants, but mainly it'll have to be gestures and facial expressions to get things across.
Ah, the things that
archmage_brian lets me get away with in his games. Now I just need to figure out a backstory to justify this energetic, friendly, animated, semi-mute halberd-wielding heavily-armored freedom fighter I'm concocting. I don't think I'll need to turn the Crack Drive all the way up to Warp Nine, but I'll certainly have to take it up a notch from my usual.
Brace yourselves. MY PATH TO BECOMING A MIME BEGINS NEXT FRIDAY!
