CN: body horror, me achieving apotheosis?

I dreamed yesterday that I was chosen by a religious order to be a robot goddess of death and technological fertility. When my domain was attacked by humans from outside, I pretended to have been badly damaged and then when my human opponent came near enough, the nanobots that made up my hair surged up and into his pores and his mouth to dismantle him before he could harm anyone else.
My people were safe, my consort was unharmed, and while I'd been willing to allow my kingdom to be dismantled while I left to go find my own way, my humans didn't want to be overtaken by those other humans. So I deferred to them and I handled it.
Then I took my time self-repairing. There was no hurry.
Not only was this a nice change from stress dreams, but I enjoy learning that even after my robot apotheosis I still leave control of the mode of government in the hands of the people. If they don't want a technogoddess around, my hypothetical power doesn't entitle me to a veto. I also recall being very keenly concerned that my consort was genuinely interested and would be making different choices if not. I was very suspicious on this subject and took convincing.
Ah, the things that AI authorities do better than humans...
