I think it's probably more likely that the majority of people simply have shitty communication skills, and that it's very easy for the majority of people to get online and create blogs and accounts to comment on other blogs, thus FLAUNTING their shitty communication skills.
Used to be that the internet attracted people with good communication skills because it took some level of intellectual prowess to connect oneself to the internet at all. While I'm glad it's easier for Average Joe to hop online and talk to me, I sometimes hate what it's done to internet culture as a whole.
