xenologer: (less evil)
So. Due to a couple of instances of anonymous trolls coming to my journal to be anti-intellectual pricks (random douche from Chaos Theory, you know who you are), anonymous comments are disabled for 1d10 days. I will try turning them back on when the allotted time is up, and if people indicate that they can be big boys and girls, I will allow them a venue to speak to me and my friends.

Until then... take your idiocy someplace else, or register an account. This is an adult space, and you're not allowed back until you are one.

You know what's fun? IP logging.

Yeah, I think I've always logged IPs on my journal. But I'm tired of my space being filled with certain kinds of trash. Like that shit about drunk drivers on the entry about birth-mothers of adoptees. I am still not sure what he was trying to say with that, but I know damn well I won't like it if I manage to puzzle it out.

Well, I mean, there can be no anonymity where IP logs occur. Knowledge is bacon.

Understandable.

When dealing with issues like religion, abortion, I find those that don't sign with some sort of recognizable username are the "anonymous dickhead" types. Their MO: vague snarky you-should-read-my-mind comments, insistence that they don't care enough about what you think to tell you who they are but do care enough to keep coming back and posting behind a veil of secrecy, and belief of their intellectual and moral superiority for refusing to reveal who they are.

We need some kitten posts to make everyone feel better now.

Anonymous comments are a primary refuge for the fog-enshrouded and those with bad intentions.

What did chaos theory have to do with Lewis Carroll or his literary work? It was like reading an angry college freshmen with verbal diarrhea.

Chaos Theory is my Star Wars board.

I dunno. Probably some idiot from TGC who showed up at my LJ. Now you've seen the kind of people that populate damn near that entire place.

It'd have made more sense if it was this place.

I approve of the tabletop reference. d10s need more love.

Every character I've hacked up in 4th edition so far has used a d10 for at least one of their weapons or attacks, though we're still not approaching White Wolf d10 critical mass.
