"We will not survive in this apartment without locomotion," Brian says, after I tried to convince him that I cannot get up and make food, because I am sessile now.

He offered to go make rice, since now that I am sessile he must provide for all my needs.

I told him no, because I want him to be sessile too.

Evidently this would result in our deaths.

There's a solution.

Work up enough motility to unlock your front door and grab a cell phone. From then on out, order pizza and Chinese with express instruction to come inside and possibly push the food into your mouths.

Tip well. It'll probably smooth over the process.
