My journal is about me, damn it.

It has recently occurred to me that a person's RP characters say a lot about who they are. After all, most well-played characters are, in some part, similar to their player.

So, I'm curious. To avoid my own bias, I'm asking the people with whom I roleplay to help me out.

What do my characters say about me? What's the vibe you get about me from exposure to the people I create?

For your ease and convenience, a list of characters you may/may not be familiar with, so you don't have to think of them all yourself.

Well, for one, your characters are very different from anything you might actually expect to see. From what few I've seen, your characters tend to be strong (but not overpowering), and comfortable with who they are, which is kind of uncommon for female characters, but is quite refreshing and very welcome.

I guess that makes sense, though it wasn't the response I expected. That's really the point of this whole exercise. For some reason I expected elaborate and detailed criticism of Ashley based on analysis of her characters, but I guess there's arguably some good there, too.

Hm... well, I only know Tassi, and a little of Quinn, Holly, and Zea. But just from seeing those, I'd have to say they're all very strong characters, and that I can certainly see in you. I'm not sure that I could say anything further than that, though... I simply don't know them, or you, well enough yet.

I don't know all of them 100% well, so I'll just go with the ones I feel I've had enough exposure to in RP.

Myrnal - Confident part of you that stands up to people, and doesn't take shit from anyone.
Tassi - Rebellious part of you, does what she wants, 'society' be damned.
Joss - Adventurous part of you, that wants to see and do great things in the world.
Dawn - Driven part of you, that will go to any lengths to get what you want.
Eve - Insecure, unsure part of you, that wants to keep to herself and away from the world.
